Terms of Service
By booking a hunting experience with SwampBlood Gator Guides, you agree to the following terms and conditions designed to protect your safety, ensure fairness, and maintain compliance with Louisiana regulations.
Booking Agreement
All bookings constitute a legal agreement between the client and SwampBlood Gator Guides. Confirmation is required within 48 hours of the initial request. A deposit of at least 50% is required to reserve dates.
Age and Health Requirements
Participants must be at least 12 years old for alligator hunting activities. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All participants should be in reasonable physical condition to safely navigate vessels and outdoor terrain.
Guide Authority
Our licensed guides maintain full authority over safety decisions and operational changes. Instructions from your guide must be followed at all times.
Liability & Safety Requirements
Safety is our top priority. All participants must complete and sign liability waivers before any activities begin.
Liability Waiver Requirements
- All adult participants must sign individual waivers.
- Parents/guardians must sign for minors.
- Waivers must be completed before departure.
- Unsigned waivers result in automatic trip cancellation.
Safety Equipment & Protocols
We provide required safety equipment including USCG-approved life jackets, first-aid supplies, and emergency communications. Equipment must be used as directed.
Insurance Coverage
SwampBlood Gator Guides carries commercial liability insurance. We recommend guests maintain personal health and travel insurance.
Booking Policies & Payment Terms
Our policies balance flexibility with fairness for guests and guides. Clear communication ensures the best experience.
Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% due to secure booking.
- Final payment: Due 30 days before the hunt date.
- Last-minute bookings: Full payment within 48 hours.
- Payments accepted: Cash, check, major credit cards.
Cancellation Policy
- 90+ days: Full refund minus $100 processing.
- 60–89 days: 75% refund.
- 30–59 days: 50% refund.
- Less than 30 days: No refund unless rebooked.
Rescheduling
One free date change permitted if requested at least 14 days in advance; additional changes incur a $50 administrative fee.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in line with applicable laws.
Information We Collect
- Contact: Name, phone, email, address.
- Booking: Dates, group size, special requests.
- Emergency contacts: For safety.
- Payment: Processed via encrypted, PCI-compliant systems.
How We Use Information
Exclusively for booking management, safety, and trip communications. We don't sell or rent personal data; disclosures occur only if required by law.

We use encrypted transmission, secure processors, and limited access controls.
Photo & Video Policy
We may capture media for safety documentation and promotional use. Participation implies consent unless you opt out in writing.
Louisiana Hunting Regulations
All activities are conducted in strict compliance with Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) regulations for sustainable management and safety.
2025 Season Information
- Season dates: September 3 – November 1, 2025 (subject to LDWF confirmation).
- Legal hours: 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset.
- Licenses/tags: Valid Louisiana hunting license + alligator tags as issued.
- Bag limits: As specified by current LDWF rules and issued tags.
Legal Harvest Methods
We use only legal, ethical, and safe techniques as outlined in current LDWF regulations.
Tags, Licensing & Documentation
We maintain required commercial permits. Individual licenses/tags associated with hunt packages are valid only for specified dates and participants. All harvested animals are tagged and documented per LDWF requirements.
