Meet Forrest White
Owner • Master Guide • Atchafalaya Basin Local
Forrest White (27) is the owner and lead guide at SwampBlood Gator Guides. Born and raised on the edge of the Atchafalaya Basin, he's spent more than 10 years running boats, setting lines, and learning every bend and cut in the Basin to guide you to the giants of the swamp.
Every trip is planned around safety, legal compliance, and ethical harvests. Licensed, insured, and local—Forrest knows the tides, the cuts, the wind, and how gators move when conditions change.
"The swamp doesn't give up her secrets easy. Move with respect, listen close, and she'll give you the kind of hunt you never forget."
— Forrest White
Hunts with SwampBlood are hands-on and guest-friendly. Forrest teaches boat safety, gear handling, and the why behind each decision so you understand the land, the water, and the animal.
It's authentic Cajun heritage—stewardship, respect for the resource, and real Atchafalaya knowledge passed down through the family. Beginners are welcome.
